TBH I only do this when it s a mod I really really wanna check out as its a lot of work and in the end I've done the work but can't share it cause its someone elses mod and I don't want to work on something and make the original author mad or upset them by having their mod show up in steam workshop without their permission This has gotten annoy with a few mods though and some have required me to completely rewrite them because they are mods designed before DLC's and break on me. My solution for that is to use those files and turn them into a mod I can drop in to DarkestDungeons/mods directory. The other way I've been doing it is when I open a mod and just find files. xml into you DarkestDungeon/mods directory.Ģ.

If its in standard mod format its as easy as dropping the folder housing the. I download and extract the files into their own folder and look for a read me file or something in the standard mod format and go from there, if its got a read me file I try to follow the instructions but I don't ever do those drop in to overwrite my core DD files like many suggest. Most of the stuff I've gotten from Nexus was like that too, I have been checking them out a couple ways.
